Liberty Bistro serves Contemporary American Cuisine. Ours is a seasonally changing menu focusing on wild seafood, local meats and produce from small farms. Everything is made in-house including all of our bread, pastas, and desserts. We emphasize quality over quantity.
We the people, of Liberty Bistro believe:
Quality begins with the freshest and best seasonal ingredients.
Produce is sourced within a 100 mile radius, and purchased from family farms or co-ops whenever possible.
NO pesticides or genetic modifications.
Meats and fowl are raised humanely, free of hormones and other “stuff”.
Fish is wild caught, not farmed.
Every product arrives fresh, not frozen, unless it’s ice cream.
Culinary creativity blends best with traditional techniques and caring cooks.
Always start from scratch. Never just unwrap, warm and serve.
Season liberally with fresh herbs and spices, sea salt,
fresh ground pepper and love.
Portions are filling and also prudently healthy in size.
Presentations are a feast for the eyes as well as the appetite.
Good stewardship of the planet is OUR responsibility.
Our kitchen is ‘green’. We use induction burners, convection ovens and a custom built wood burning pizza…NO open flames.
Lighting uses halogen bulbs for efficiency and energy conservation.
Our “Big Dipper” system disposes 98.6% of greasy waste
before it leaves the restaurant.
Chemical free steam cleaning keeps our facility spic and span.
Recycling is serious business. We cooperate with all efforts to dispose of packaging and glass in an environmentally friendly way.
